Fluttering of eyelashes
yours or mine, I think I thought
enough to know what Im doing
but not so much that there is nothing new to try
erstwhile lovers, begotten
years passed, days forgotten
amnesia, this space but a playground
shiny and sort of new
the eyes of a child I once knew
hungry girls, untidy ponytails
I miss you a thousand years ago
in ancient Sumatra when you were just mine
but you are streaked by this big world
in the sensible discourse of which you speak
knowing crooked smiles, or not, another sunrise
I know the creature
in her whitish skin
and glazy face
I wish you would come home
to us, our blue night song
starry space
labrynths, illusions washed away
nightingales, mangled wings
apologies and promises
the same song over
a lost voice
somewhere, close but faraway
sings a song i once knew
Once upon a time i saw just silk;
pink and gold and glitter infused
and now the kindest light of day,
mere fantacy, worn and disused
Pillow speak promises age and fade
"For you I will try, my Angel, please."
Just stupid words I've heard many times before
waking moments I foolishly store
The sun rises again for me
both faintest hopes awake.
All of Gods words, we breathe again
but its just a moment -
last of your Grace;
Ash and water
rouse you to life
but faithless can not turn her face
Your ribbons are but tangled lace
