She came home to

She finished up late. She came home late. He was asleep on the bed, beautiful, breathing gently, the Usual Suspects playing on his laptop. She kissed his nose and whispered in his ear "don't wake up." They pulled his hoodie off and boardies and put him under the covers. He was a sleeping angel in cute boxer undie-things, lying peacefully in the white sheets with gentle background noise, and he was the safest thing she knew.
